Payment Terms

1. Booking & Agreement

By booking a service with KOBA.FO, you agree to the following terms. KOBA.FO reserves the right to update or amend these terms without prior notice.

2. Type of Service

KOBA.FO offers curated half-day and full-day guided experiences in the Faroe Islands with a strong emphasis on local storytelling, cinematic landscapes, and small group transport (max. 7 guests per tour).

3. Payment Terms

All bookings require full prepayment to be confirmed.

Payment must be completed before the tour departure, either online via our website or approved partner platforms (e.g. Viator). Unpaid bookings are considered invalid and will not be honored.

Prices are in DKK and include VAT unless stated otherwise.

4. Extras & Add-ons

Optional services, such as hotel pickup, may carry additional costs. These must be selected during booking and are added to the total tour price.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation more than 7 days before departure: 70% refund

Cancellation within 7 days of departure: no refund

KOBA.FO reserves the right to offer rebooking options where possible, but is not obligated to do so.

6. Participant Responsibility

Guests are responsible for arriving on time at the confirmed meeting point.

If a guest fails to show up without prior notice, no refund will be issued.

Hiking and light physical activity may be part of the experience. Guests should assess their fitness before booking.

7. Infants & Children

Infants (0–2 years) must be in a legally approved child seat.

KOBA.FO does not supply child seats unless arranged in advance.

Children must be booked as full-paying participants if they occupy a seat.

8. Weather & Itinerary Changes

Tours take place in all weather conditions unless deemed unsafe by the operator.

KOBA.FO reserves the right to adjust routes or cancel tours due to severe weather, road closures, or operational disruptions. If KOBA cancels a tour, guests will be offered a full refund or rebooking.

9. Liability

Participation is at your own risk.

KOBA.FO is not liable for personal injuries, delays, or loss of belongings.

Travel insurance is recommended.

10. Confirmation

A booking is only confirmed once full payment is received and a confirmation email has been sent. If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact: info@koba.fo

11. Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Faroese law. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of the Faroe Islands.
