By booking a tour or service with PACK PACK, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
A booking is only confirmed when payment has been completed and a booking confirmation has been sent by email.
PACK PACK reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The terms that apply to your booking are the terms shown at the time of booking.
PACK PACK offers private driver guide tours and guided experiences in the Faroe Islands.
Our tours are vehicle based and may include scenic driving, short walks, village visits, viewpoints, photo stops and local storytelling.
Unless clearly stated otherwise, PACK PACK tours are private tours for your own group.
The maximum group size is stated on each product page.
All bookings must be paid online before the tour is confirmed.
Payment may be made through the PACK PACK website, our booking system, approved payment providers or approved partner platforms.
Bookings without completed payment are not valid.
All prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and include VAT unless otherwise stated.
PACK PACK is not responsible for bank fees, card fees, exchange rate differences or fees charged by the customer’s bank or payment provider.
Private tours are priced per vehicle, not per person.
The vehicle and driver guide are reserved for the booked group only.
The total tour duration is based on the selected package or hourly booking.
Time spent on scenic stops, short walks, photo stops, breaks, pickup and drop off is included in the booked tour time.
The route may be adjusted according to weather, road conditions, ferry schedules, timing and the interests of the group.
The standard meeting point is stated on the product page or in the booking confirmation.
Hotel pickup in Tórshavn may be available as an add on or by prior agreement.
Pickup and drop off outside Tórshavn may be possible by prior agreement, but may affect the available tour time.
Pickup and drop off in Suðuroy are not included in standard PACK PACK tours, unless specifically agreed in writing before booking.
The customer is responsible for being ready at the agreed pickup time.
Late arrival by the customer may reduce the total tour time. No refund is given for reduced tour time caused by late arrival.
Suðuroy is not included in our standard pickup and drop off area.
A visit to Suðuroy may be possible by prior agreement as part of a longer private tour package.
Suðuroy tours are normally only possible as part of a 12 hour private tour package and, at this time, normally only on Wednesdays.
All Suðuroy tours are subject to ferry schedules, weather, road conditions and availability.
Ferry time, waiting time, local transport planning and route adjustments are part of the total booked tour time, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All PACK PACK tours must finish no later than 10:00 pm, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If a customer chooses a start time that does not allow the full package duration before 10:00 pm, the tour will still finish by 10:00 pm and the full package price applies.
Customers should choose an earlier start time or a shorter tour package if they want the full tour duration.
Unless otherwise stated, private tours include:
Private vehicle
Local driver guide
Route planning
Fuel
Standard road and tunnel fees
Scenic stops and local guidance
Meals, drinks, entrance fees, ferry tickets, special activities and third party services are only included if this is clearly stated on the product page or in the booking confirmation.
Optional add ons may be available during booking.
Add ons are only included if selected and paid for during booking, or confirmed separately in writing by PACK PACK.
Hotel pickup, special pickup locations, meals, ferry tickets, entrance fees or other extras may require additional payment.
Cancellation more than 72 hours before departure gives a full refund.
Cancellation within 72 hours of departure gives no refund.
No shows give no refund.
PACK PACK may, at its own discretion, offer rescheduling or credit, but is not obligated to do so.
Refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. Processing time may depend on the payment provider and the customer’s bank.
PACK PACK may adjust, reschedule or cancel a tour due to severe weather, road conditions, safety concerns, mechanical issues, ferry disruptions, government restrictions, illness or other operational reasons.
If PACK PACK cancels a tour before departure, the customer will be offered either a full refund or the option to reschedule, subject to availability.
If the route is changed for safety, weather or operational reasons, this does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.
The Faroe Islands are highly weather dependent.
Tours operate in many types of weather, including rain, wind, fog and changing conditions.
PACK PACK will always aim to create the best possible experience on the day, but specific viewpoints, villages, roads, hikes, ferries or photo stops cannot be guaranteed.
Guests participate at their own risk.
Guests are responsible for assessing their own health, fitness level and ability before booking.
Guests must follow safety instructions given by the driver guide.
PACK PACK is not responsible for injuries, delays, lost belongings or reduced experiences caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Children must be included in the booking if they occupy a seat.
Child seats are not provided unless arranged in advance.
Infants and children must comply with Faroese safety regulations.
The customer is responsible for informing PACK PACK in advance if child seats or special arrangements are needed.
Cruise guests are responsible for providing correct ship name, arrival time and departure time.
PACK PACK plans cruise tours with the aim of returning guests safely to the ship on time.
However, PACK PACK is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including weather, road closures, traffic disruption, ship schedule changes, port changes or other external events.
Some tours may include or recommend third party services, such as restaurants, local hosts, ferries, entrance areas, activities or other suppliers.
PACK PACK is not responsible for changes, delays, cancellations, quality issues or additional costs caused by third party providers, unless the third party service is clearly sold as part of the PACK PACK booking.
PACK PACK is not liable for cancellations, delays, route changes, reduced service or additional costs caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
This may include, but is not limited to:
Extreme weather
Road closures
Ferry disruptions
Natural events
Government restrictions
Safety regulations
Mechanical failure
Illness
Accidents
Other operational disruptions
In such cases, PACK PACK may modify the itinerary, reschedule the tour or cancel the experience.
PACK PACK is not liable for indirect loss, missed flights, missed ships, missed connections, loss of income, loss of opportunity or other consequential losses.
PACK PACK’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the booked tour, unless otherwise required by law.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate booking information, including name, email, phone number, pickup details, group size, cruise ship name if relevant and any special requirements.
PACK PACK is not responsible for problems caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

Any disputes shall be settled under the jurisdiction of the courts of the Faroe Islands.
